The rays of happiness, like those of light, are colorless when unbroken.
I embraced the first opportunity to get back to California and it is altogether probable now that I am here I shall never again leave it.
California: the face of the earth as the Creator intended it to look.
California lacks a lot of the rules and restrictions the East has: every house is a different style, different material, different color. There's a lot of craziness out West!
In California in the early Spring there are pale yellow mornings when the mist burns slowly into day, the air stings like Autumn, clarifies like pain.
I embraced the first opportunity to get back to California and it is altogether probable now that I am here I shall never again leave it.

"I am part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.
My past is redeemed, my present is purposed, my future secure. My life is His. I'm finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living, and dwarfed goals. I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, or popularity. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still.
I don't have to be right, first, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by patience, breathe by prayer, and labor by power. My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I will not be bought, deluded, or delayed. I can not afford to flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I won't give up, shut up, or let up; until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and spoken for the cause of Christ.
I am a disciple of Jesus.
This is my prayer."

Cool! What a neat variety of pictures. She got so many good styles and expressions. We never got a chance, before NY, to see your picture results and we are loving it. Your Mom & I did some turkey + shopping together today and she brought me up to date on a couple of your most recent opportunities. It sounds like things are coming together. Lots of hard work, I know. But congrats on the results! Love You, G'ma
While waiting at my doctors I paged through an issue of Bazaar (sp?). I preferred your pictures (especially the fifth one in your blog) over the many in the magazine. I liked the smile on your next pic too. Love ya
